The dataset describe the spatial distribution of urban built-up land at 30m x 30m resolution Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar in 2010. Built-up land here are defined as locations dominated by constructed surfaces or built environment, where dominancy implies >50% coverage of pixels. Multiple remote sensing data, including Landsat, DMSP/OLS night time light, MODIS NDVI data and other ancillary spatial data, were integrated to develop this 30-m resolution urban built-up map of 2010 with an object-oriented classification approach.
